A closed door

A door has been closed…

A huge emptiness in my soul
a deep pain in my heart,
a door has been closed
and I have no keys to open it.

A door suddenly closed...
perhaps the wind with a strong blow
or is your firm hand that blocks it?
A door with a gold padlock and a silver key.

An abysmal silence behind the door
I would like to knock it with hard beats
a heavy chain blocks my hands and
you can’t hear my aphonic shouts.

Distressed I walk on empty streets
running away through the darkness of night
no stars in the sky to guide my way
feeling lost I fall in an endless hole.

Dawn’s early lights brighten the east
dreams fade away, I get my essence
no closed doors or sorrowful silences
no gold padlocks and no silver keys.
